Research on Optimization of Smart Application Scenarios for Preschool Children’s Knowledge Services in the Context of AGI
Zong Liyong 1,2 Luo Yao 2 Nie Jing1[Purpose/significance] Digital transformation has brought revolutionary changes to the publishing industry, artificial intelligence has demonstrated significant potential in knowledge services for preschool-aged children. AI is evolving toward Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) characterized by enhanced cognitive capabilities, autonomy and cross-domain applicability. Against this backdrop, traditional learning devices increasingly fail to meet young children’s dynamic developmental needs. [Method/process] This study focuses on optimizing smart application scenarios in AGI-powered knowledge services, exploring practical implementations in cognitive enlightenment, interactive learning, intelligent picture book experiences, and multimodal entertainment companionship. Concurrently, strategies are proposed to address the real problems of logical jumps and value deviations in the current intelligent output content, the potential impact of over-frequent reliance on digital intelligence products on the physical and mental health of under-aged children, and the specification of product details. [Result/conclusion] The aim of this study is to strengthen collaborative media intervention, build educational synergy, promote the healthy development of AI in knowledge services for younger children, and provide safer and more effective services for younger children.
Practical Research on the Integration of Technology and Humanities in the Digital Intelligence Era— Focusing on Digital Humanities Projects in Japan
Li Yonghui1,2 Li Minyu3[Purpose/significance] The aim of this study is to explore whether the integration of technology and humanities can profoundly promote humanities research, and to seek effective paths for the sustainable development of digital humanities projects. [Method/process] This study analyzes Japan’s KAKEN Digital Humanities Fund projects to explore the characteristics, practices, and strategies of Japan in advancing digital humanities initiatives. Based on this analysis, the study examines the pathways for integrating digital technology and humanities disciplines in China under the new era context. [Result/conclusion] The research indicates that Japan’s successful experiences in digital humanities projects include achieving internationalization of data standards and norms, implementing standardized management through policies and regulations, encouraging broad participation by collaborating with various sectors of society, and addressing the practical needs of different groups. Based on these findings, the future development of digital humanities in China should adopt a global perspective, strengthen international cooperation, create a policy environment conducive to the growth of digital humanities, promote interdisciplinary exchanges to deepen mutual understanding, and leverage innovative digital technologies to advance the humanities. This will not only foster academic progress but also better meet the diverse cultural needs of society.
Research on the Development and Utilization of Agricultural Culture Books in the Context of Rural Revitalization
Fu Na[Purpose/significance] With the narrowing of urban-rural distance and the acceleration of urbanization, there are considerable dilemmas and issues in the inheritance of agricultural culture and the recognition of the spirit of agricultural culture. Public libraries have a unique role and a significant responsibility in inheriting and promoting traditional agricultural culture, especially in exploring, developing and utilizing library collections of agricultural culture books to help rural revitalization. [Method/process] Taking the practical exploration of Changyi City Library as an example, this study discusses the obstacles of Changyi City Library in inheriting traditional agricultural culture through literature research and empirical research methods, and puts forward countermeasures. [Result/conclusion] The challenges faced by Changyi City Library in preserving traditional agricultural culture include six aspects: inadequate policy support and funding, severe loss of cultural practitioners, insufficient exploration of agricultural cultural resources, lack of traditional agricultural education, acute shortage of professional talent, and monotonous forms and content of promotion. The proposed countermeasures are as follows: strengthening top-level design and improving the institutional framework; prioritizing students and innovate the education system; uncovering precious resources and integrating agricultural culture; emphasizing talent cultivation and providing robust support; innovating promotional methods to enhancing emotional identification.
Research on the Construction of Library Discipline Literature Resource Guarantee System in a Multi-campus Context: A Case Study of the Archaeology and Museology Discipline of Nanjing University
Wu Huixuan[Purpose/significance] To improve the library resource construction across the four campuses of Nanjing University, provide richer and more efficient literature support and services for students in the Archaeology and Museum disciplines, and promote the continuous development and innovation of the disciplines. [Method/process] Using the case analysis method, this study combs through the existing literature resources of the archaeology and museology discipline in the Nanjing University Library. It analyzes the current state of library literature resource construction in the context of multiple campuses. It also examines the research directions and borrowing needs of master’s and doctoral students majoring in archaeology and museology at Nanjing University, with a particular focus on the utilization of printed book resources by graduate students in the archaeology and museology discipline. [Result/conclusion] It has been found that there is a spatial mismatch between the distribution of resources and the demand for them in the construction of library literature resources on the subject of archaeology and museology. The traditional single-discipline approach to building literature resources for archaeology and museology can no longer meet the complex needs of students in an interdisciplinary research environment. There are contradictions between borrowing rules and the needs of the discipline, and the use of resources is restricted during field practice. Moreover, the cross-campus proxy borrowing service is underutilized. In response to the problems in the construction of literature resources and borrowing services for the archaeology and museology discipline at Nanjing University, optimization proposals have been put forward, including establishing a literature guarantee evaluation system, improving the book resources of the archaeology and museology major at the Suzhou campus, optimizing short-term borrowing rules, and perfecting the cross-campus linkage mechanism for book resources.
Analysis of Characteristic Marketing Strategies of Public Libraries under the New 4C Theoretical Framework: Taking the Award-winning Projects of IFLA International Marketing Awards as Examples
Lai Yanglong, Hong Qiulan[Purpose/significance] Public library marketing has been a hot topic in the development of library services in recent years. Through cross-disciplinary research in communication theory, feasible strategies for public library marketing have been analyzed. [Method/process] The study selects 30 award-winning projects from the IFLA International Marketing Awards between 2016 and 2025 as research samples. By leveraging the new 4C theory, it conducts a content summary and systematic analysis of the award-winning projects from four dimensions: scene construction perspective, community user perspective, content dissemination perspective, and publicity network perspective. This is done to verify the applicability and effectiveness of the new 4C theory in the characteristic marketing strategies of public libraries in China. [Result/conclusion] Suggestions are proposed regarding scenario, user, resource, and group aspects for distinctive marketing strategies of public libraries in China, which are expanding service forms based on scenario structures, pursuing user resonance and cultivating emotional identification, integrating unique resources and innovating communication channels and focusing on key nodes to activate group connections.
