 [Purpose/significance] In response to the call of the “14th Five-Year” National Informatization Plan, improve the efficiency of government information service. [Method/process] This study proposes four new concepts, three new scenarios and four new paths of government information service based on information guidance from the perspective of government information resource management, combined with the advantages of information resource management discipline. The new concept of government information services under information guidance includes guiding concept, embedding concept, popular science concept, and auxiliary concept. New scenarios refer to business consultation and handling scenarios, convenient public life scenarios, and public rights protection scenarios. The new path includes data security path, resource coordination path, intelligent service path, and extended service path. [Results/conclusion] It aims to improve the efficiency of government information resource management, break the barriers of government service collaboration, and provide disciplinary momentum for the reform of government information service under the new situation.
